Killer Toffee Almond Brownies

Not a brownie fan?  Not a fan of chocolate? I really don’t know what to say to that, other than you have to try these brownies!  They will make a brownie lover out of you.  I promise!  The very best thing about this brownie recipe is how easy they are.  Perfect for those busy weeks when you just don’t have time to make a complicated dessert for the party you were invited to and asked to bring dessert.  Add vanilla ice cream and drizzle with Hershey syrup and sprinkle with some toffee bits, you will be the belle of the ball.

Heavens to Betsy! If these aren’t worth killin for not sure what is.

Start with a brownie mix.  Any mix will do, I prefer Ghirardellis. (This is not a sponsored post by either Ghirardelli or Hersheys.)

Four Symphony milk chocolate with almonds and toffee chocolate bars is what you will need.  I have swapped other candy out however this is my favorite.  Milk Duds and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups come in a close second.

After you mix the brownie mix with water, oil, and eggs, spray your baking pan generously with non-stick cooking spray.  Pour half the patter in the pan and layer the Hershey Symphony Candy Bars over the batter, like so.  Killer!  Deadly!  Danger. Danger Will Rodgers.

Pour the remaining batter on top of the candy bars, smooth it over so all the candy bar is covered and place them in the oven to bake.

Until you bite into this toffee brownie you just will never know what you are missing.  It is symphony of gooey brownie and crunchy toffee topped off with sea salt.  This brownie will for sure turn you grey skies blue!

So easy and so amazing!  Have a great weekend.  I hope you enjoy a brownie or two! XO Sheila
