Beer Bread

Sheila
This bread is a simple no yeast batter bread that comes together in minutes and goes well with soups, stews, and as simple appetizer with dips. In the notes I have instructions for how to give this simple bread as a "do it yourself" bread kit.

Notes

Giving Beer Bread as a "do it yourself" gift:  Add dry ingredients together, and place them in a food safe plastic bag, or a paper bag that is lined and used for packaging food.  Write the ingredients and directions out on a note card.  Give them a beer along with the cute packaged beer bread mix.  All they need to add is the butter!  You could even gift this to them in a bread pan.
