Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 cups fruit, any combination you like example: strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, mango, peach, apples
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup spinach or kale optional
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice lime, and orange work as well
  • 1/3 cup milk almond milk, soy, or water
  • optional add ins = wheat germ flax seed, protein powder, fresh ginger, banana, nut butter, coco powder, cinnamon,

Instructions
 

  • Get all of your ingredients out and organized. Label and date freezer safe containers.
  • Add first five ingredients to quart sized freezer bags. Remove as much air as possible. Freeze.
  • Blending Smoothie: Remove frozen smoothie ingredients into blender add milk. Blend until smooth. If you like your smoothie less frozen, take out of freezer and place bag in a warm bowl of water for 10 minutes before blending.
